Flash Fiction

It was 4:00 in the morning, and I was standing in the middle of the street beside a street light, tirelessly waiting for the bus to stop by in front of me. An old woman stood beside me and suddenly asked me.
"Where are you going?" she said.
"I'm going to my hometown to celebrate my grandpa's death anniversary," I calmly responded to her.
"Your grandpa in heaven is going to be happy from your visit"—she replied with a happy smile on her face.
"Thank you," I replied, smiling back at the old woman.
After the long conversation, the bus stopped in front of me. I started to prepare the bags and said,
"Let's go inside already, grandma; we're going to be late; our relatives are so excited to see us."—speaks with a hurried tone.
"Who are you?" she confusedly asks me.
"I'm your granddaughter," I calmly replied.
"Come on, let me help you walk on the stairs."
